Another defenseman the Rangers won't be acquiring, as the San Jose Sharks just traded winger Steve Bernier and a 1st round draft pick to the Buffalo Sabres for Brian Campbell.
Additionally, Tampa Bay center Brad Richards and goalie Johan Holmqvist are off to Dallas, with the the Stars sending center Jeff Halpern, winger Jussi Jokinen, goalie Mike Smith back in return.
